Description
IPA
5.9% ABV
440ML
A hazy, juicy IPA, with a simple grain bill of pilsner malt and wheat malt allow the hops to shine through. Heavily dry hopped with some of our favourite Pacific North West varieties. Low bitterness, notes of tropical fruits and orange.
Hops: Magnum, Centennial, Citra, Cascade.
Spankers Hill Wood was planted in 1819. The name remains a mystery but it’s possibly a reference to a famous racehorse that was kept in the park at the time, named Spanker.

A proper tasty and bold IPA. Not too harsh on the pallet, sometimes I find IPAs can linger a bit too long and get a bit over-powering after a while. Happy to keep going on these all evening.

Still my favourite. My style of IPA and one I keep coming back to.

One of the best IPAs I had in 2021 (and I had quite a few!)
